An Iowa man decorated an entire street in honor of his Christmas-loving wife.
His wife, Joan, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s four years ago, and since then, her husband, a Marine Corps veteran, has worked to create meaningful memories for her.
“If it hadn’t been for my wife, I don’t know if I would have done this,” Mr Reichardt told CBS, the BBC’s US news partner. “But she wants Christmas, so I’m going to give it to her. I’ll do anything to make her happy.”
