One Direction singer Liam Payne wrote a note to his girlfriend shortly before his death predicting they would be married within a year, she has revealed.

“A few weeks ago we sat outside and had a beautiful evening showcasing our life together,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I kept your note next to me even though you told me not to read it. It said, ‘Kate and I will be married/engaged within a year and be together forever’.”
She also posted a series of photos, including a handwritten note from him.
She added: “Liam, I know we will always be together, but not in the way we planned. You will always be with me. I have been given a guardian angel.
“I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, taking our dreams and memories with me wherever I go. Forever yours, Caitlin.”
Payne had been in a relationship with the American influencer since 2022, and she had been spending time with him in South America just days before his death.
But by the time Payne fell to his death on October 16, Cassidy had left the country.
She wrote on Instagram: “I don’t even know where to begin. My heart is broken beyond words.
“I hope you can see the huge impact you’ve had on the world, even though it feels so dark right now. You bring so much joy and positivity to everyone – millions of fans, your family, your friends, and especially me .
“You are – because I can’t say – my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touch is as special as I am. Your energy is contagious and lights up every room you walk into. room.
She continued: “It all feels unreal and I can’t accept my new reality without you here. I’m trying to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side. We are kids again together, always there Find joy in the smallest things.

Payne’s sudden death has caused an outpouring of grief from his family, friends and fans around the world.
His father Jeff is currently in the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires, where authorities are conducting tests before allowing his body to be returned to the UK.
They are also reviewing phone, computer and security camera evidence to determine the full circumstances of his death.
