Her song “Taste” spends its eighth consecutive week at No. 1 and surpasses Noah Kahan’s “Stick Season” to become the longest-running No. 1 single of 2024.
Earlier this year, Carpenter had seven weeks at No. 1 with “Espresso” and five weeks at No. 1 with “Please Please Please.”
She equaled Frankie Laine’s 1953 record of 20 consecutive weeks at the top of the charts with “I Believe,” “Hey Joe” and “Answer Me.”
Elsewhere, KSI’s buzzy song “Thick Of It” has become his ninth top 10 single.
