The first trailer for “Wallace and Gromit” has been released as it returns to the small screen.
Vengeance Most Fowl, the pair’s first feature film in 19 years, will see the hapless inventor and his canine sidekick face off against their nemesis, the evil penguin Feathers McGraw.
A new trailer gives fans a glimpse into the adventure, which sees Wallace and his pre-programmed intelligent dwarf Norbert being the prime suspects in a recent crime wave of thefts of garden items across the region.
The film will premiere on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Christmas Day, before being available on Netflix outside the UK.
Produced by Aardman Animation and directed by Nick Park, creator of “Walkers” and “Shaun the Sheep,” “Walkers” will once again battle the sinister forces of Wallace. Claim your innocence.
But after being imprisoned, McGraw returned with a vengeance.
This is the first appearance of “Wallace and Gromit” since the 2008 short “Bread and Death,” and the first time they have gone head-to-head with their old nemesis McGraw since the 1993 Oscar-winning “The Wrong Pants.”
Ben Whitehead will voice Wallace, an eccentric, cheese-loving inventor from the north of England who lives with his faithful dog Gromit Together.
Peter Kay will also return as the voice of Chief Inspector Mackintosh, while other actors including Motherland’s Diane Morgan, Bridgerton’s A. Actors including Adjoa Andoh and Sir Lenny Henry will also make cameos.
Wallace & Gromit: The Most Revenge This is the pair’s second feature-length film in the series, following 2005’s The Curse of the Rabbit.
Short films also include “A Grand Day Out” and “A Close Shave”.
The new 70-minute film will be released on Netflix outside the UK on 3 January 2025.
