A 25-year-old woman was killed and 10 others injured in a shooting in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba, local authorities said.
Police said there was a “suspected terrorist attack” at the city’s central bus station and the gunman was shot dead on the spot.
The BBC has not yet verified the authenticity of a video posted online showing people dead or injured inside a McDonald’s.
The Israeli ambulance service said paramedics were treating ten victims, some with gunshot wounds.
The ambulance service said one woman was in “moderate to serious” condition and four others were in “moderate condition”.
They were taken to nearby Soroka Hospital.
Shortly after the attack, Israeli Transport Minister Miri Regev called for the families of “terrorists” to be deported.
“It’s time for deterrent punishment to prevent attacks on Israeli soil,” she wrote on X.
